Elizabeth Jolley Research Collection
Elizabeth Jolley (1923-2007) started teaching at WAIT in 1978. In 1998 she was appointed Professor of Creative Writing at Curtin and later became Emeritus Professor in Curtin’s School of Communication and Cultural Studies.
She wrote 15 novels and four short story collections. Her novels have been adapted for film and stage, and many of her works have been translated into other languages.
The bibliography was created by Barbara Milech and Brian Dibble, both colleagues of Elizabeth Jolley at Curtin University. In 2007 Milech and Dibble began work with the Curtin University Library to publish Elizabeth Jolley: A Bibliography 1965-2007 online as the foundation of the Elizabeth Jolley Research Collection. The collection includes books signed by Jolley, books published in other languages, and art works interpreting her works.
