Library study spaces after semester 2, 2021
The Library is moving out of TL Robertson Library into a new space after exams!
From Monday 15 November 2021 you’ll be able to study in the first of our newly refurbished Library spaces in Building 103 and 106A called Library Central (located between Concept Café and Curtin Connect). Library Central will be a full-featured library with plenty of study space, computers, printing facilities, an equity room, high use books and help available.
TL Robertson Library will close when exams finish, from Saturday 13 November onwards including 2022, as building works continue.
Two additional Library spaces in Building 201 and Building 418 will open next year as students return to campus. Our current facilities will be accessible across these new locations, including more seating than what’s available in 2021. We’re looking forward to providing multiple construction-free, newly refurbished spaces for you to study in.
We’ll be providing more details in late October closer to the move.
There will be intermittent noisy works occuring each Saturday until (and including) Saturday 23 October, between 6am – 3pm. The loudest works will occur during the mid-morning period, so feel free to visit us in the afternoon or check out other spaces around campus if you’d like a quieter study space.
Impact on facilities and services
Most of our services are operating as usual. Stay up to date on the status of our services via our current service availability page.
Levels 3 and 4, and part of level 2 will be closed for construction. We still offer group study space, computers and individual study space, though there will be less seats and facilities available due to the floor closures.
During semester, daily construction work will occur Monday to Friday:
|7am – 2pm||Noisy construction works|
|2pm – midnight||No construction|
There is no regular construction work planned for Saturday and Sunday.
Sometimes there may be construction work scheduled outside these times – we’ll keep you posted on this page.
