Online programs and resources on study skills are available for undergraduate and postgraduate students and include Time Management, Thinking Matters, Better Sentences, Better Referencing, Better Tests and Better Maths.

Library tours and workshops
Library tours and workshops are available to explore the Library, hone your research skills or help you learn about Endnote referencing software. Make a booking online or ask Library staff for more information.
Seminars and workshops include academic writing, paraphrasing, critical thinking, time management, test-taking strategies, basic numeracy skills, algebra, exponents and logarithms, statistics and SPSS.

The Library Help team on level 2 of the TL Robertson Library are available between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 5pm on Saturdays during Semester.

The Library Help team can help you find your way around the Library, borrow books at the self-service loan machines, find books, journal articles and other information you need for your studies.
The Library Help team can also help with basic referencing, search queries or connect you to other library services.
Other Library Services
The Library Help team can refer you when you need specialised help, including how to develop study and research skills, how to find information, and advice on data management and copyright matters.
Eligible clients can receive help placing document delivery requests and accessing teaching resources in the High Demand collection.
Library Student Assistants
During semester, Library Student Assistants (LSAs) are available 24/7 in the TL Robertson Library. Just look for the blue ‘Ask Me’ t-shirts.
Dial 7166 from a Library Help phone and a Library Student Assistant will come to you.
LSAs can help with basic IT queries, using the Library website, searching the catalogue and finding items on the shelf, and can assist you in using and booking Library spaces and facilities.
Abacus IT staff on level 2 of the TL Robertson Library can assist with a range of IT queries regarding OASIS, access to the internet, connecting to the Wifi, software issues, Blackboard and more.
