Curtin University students who have registered with the Disability Counsellor at the University Counselling Service are eligible for special Library services.
Services are individually tailored to assist with access to Library materials and equipment. These include access to Room 325 on Level 3 of the Robertson Library, equity access to Level 3 on the north-west side of the building, assistance in retrieving and photocopying Library materials, provision of materials in alternative formats, and the use of the Document Delivery/Off-Campus Library service.
Students need to obtain a letter of introduction from the Disability Counsellor at Curtin in order to register for these services.
Once a letter of introduction has been obtained, please discuss your needs and queries with the Client Services Supervisor at the Robertson Library, Flexible Delivery and Lending Services, Level 2. Alternatively, you can contact the Client Services Supervisor on (+61 8) 9266 3221 or email libraryclientservices@curtin.edu.au

Students who have difficulty using lending services are most welcome to borrow and return Library items via our Document Delivery/Off-Campus Library service.
All loaned materials must be returned or renewed before the due date. However students who encounter difficulties in returning material because of illness, incapacity or special circumstances beyond their control, should inform Document Delivery staff. Assistance can be provided to avoid incurring fines or penalties.
Assistance is provided to students with a print disability to obtain material in a format suitable for their needs. Students need to contact the Disability Counsellor with these requests.
All Curtin students will receive their Library notices through the Official Communications Channel (OCC) of OASIS. Please ensure that you check your OASIS account regularly for Library OCC messages.
If you are unable to access services provided through OASIS due to a medical condition, disability or some other compelling reason, you can apply for an exemption from using OASIS. Exemption forms are available online from the OASIS webpage and from Student Central.
