All Curtin students will receive their Library notices through the Official Communications Channel (OCC) of Oasis. Curtin staff and other Library borrowers will receive Library notices via email. Please check Library communications regularly and keep your contact details updated.
In the Robertson Library use a self-service loans machine or take the items and your Curtin ID card to the Enquiries Desk.

Please use the self-service loans machines on Level 2. The self service loans machines issue a receipt which lists the items borrowed and the dates they are due to be returned. Ask library staff to help if you have any difficulties.
To borrow items from the Reserve Collection, please use the self-service loans machine located in the Reserve area on Level 2.
Borrow items at the TRL Enquiries Desk. Curtin staff and students only can borrow from the TRL. Students may borrow up to 20 items. This is in addition to items borrowed from the Robertson Library. Most loans are for three weeks, some for two days only.
Borrow items at the Enquiries Desk Curtin staff and students only may borrow in person from the Murray Street Library collection. Students and staff may borrow one 1-day loan and five 7-day loan items. There is limited access to the Murray Street Library, see About Us

If you are a Curtin staff member or student, then your Curtin ID card is your library card. If you are visiting from another university or elsewhere, please contact us or ask at the Enquiries Desk.

All items may be recalled. The required return date will be indicated on a recall notice. Curtin students will receive this notice through the Official Communications Channel (OCC) of Oasis. All other borrowers will receive this notice via email. Fines are imposed on borrowers who fail to return a recalled item on time.

Yes. If an item is available at another Curtin library you can usually request it, and if it is on loan, you can recall it. Use the Catalogue to request and recall items. Step by step guide.
When a recalled or requested item becomes available for you to borrow, we will notify you that we are holding it for you. Curtin students will receive this notification through the Official Communications Channel (OCC) of Oasis. All other borrowers will receive their notices via email. To collect an item, come to the Enquiries Desk of the library where the item is being held and present your ID card.
