Need help in the library?

Rovers are employed by Curtin University Library to help and assist library users in the Robertson and Kalgoorlie libraries.

Rovers assist with enquiries concerning library facilities such as public computers, photocopiers, printers, wireless network, catalogue searches, locations of library items and other general IT and library enquiries.

How to get help from a rover

If you require a rover to help you please locate a HELP phone located at the info desk and near the lift areas of the library and dial 4183. You may also approach a rover if they are close by, they are easily distinguishable by their blue t-shirts which read ‘Ask me”. You can also ask for rover assistance at the Enquiries desk.

How do I become a student rover

These positions are usually advertised near the end of second semester each year. To be eligible for the casual position, students must be enrolled at Curtin University.

Rovers are here to help you to use the library, they are well trained and very friendly. Remember to take advantage of their assistance when you need it.
