SMS Availability Notices

Your library has an 'SMS Availability Notices' service, where we send you an SMS message informing you that an item you recalled or requested is now available for you to pickup from the library.

You will also continue to receive the official email advice.

Can I use this service?

If you are a registered Curtin University Library user, that is you can borrow books and can place recalls, and have a mobile phone then you can use this service.

How do I subscribe to this service?

When placing a recall or request you must select a pickup location. Immediately below the pickup location options is a link to "Subscribe" to the SMS Availability Notice service. Clicking on this link prompts you to enter your mobile phone number. Enter your number and click on the "Subscribe" button. That’s all.
