Enabling JavaScript and Cookies
To access the full functionality of your Library's electronic resources you should enable JavaScript and cookies on your browser. Access to the Curtin Library Catalogue, including E-Reserve, and the Databases A-Z list, will be severely limited or not possible without enabling JavaScript and cookies. Follow the instructions below to enable these on Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox.

Internet Explorer 7 for PC
To enable JavaScript
From the Tools menu select Internet Options.
Select the Security tab, and then select the Custom Level button.
Scroll down until you see Scripting options. Make sure the Enable radio button under Active scripting is selected.
Click OK to save changes.

To enable Cookies
From the Tools menu select Internet Options.
Select the Privacy tab, and then click the Advanced button.
Click both the Accept radio buttons.
Click OK to save changes.

Safari 2 for Macintosh
JavaScript
From the Safari menu select Preferences.
Click on the Security icon.
Check the checkboxes to Enable JavaScript
Cookies
On the same screen check the checkbox to Accept Cookies Always.

Firefox 2 for PC
JavaScript
From the Tools menu select Options...
Click on the Content icon.
Check checkbox to Enable JavaScript.
Click OK.

Cookies
From the Tools menu select Options...
Click on the Privacy icon.
Click the Cookies tab.
Check checkbox to Accept cookies from sites.
Click OK.

Firefox 1.5 for Macintosh
JavaScript
From the Firefox menu select Preferences.
Click on the Content icon.
Check the checkbox to Enable JavaScript.

Cookies
From the Firefox menu select Preferences.
Click on the Privacy icon.
Click on the Cookies tab.
Check checkbox to Allow sites to set Cookies.
