How do I use Article Find It?
Who can use Article Find It?
Why didn't I get a full text link for my article?
Why wasn't I offered Curtin catalogue access?
Sometimes I do not get to the article directly, why?
I know we have this journal, why didn't it get offered?
Article Find It allows you to check whether a specific journal article is available. If it is available online you can link to the relevant article or journal directly. If it is not available, you will be offered other services that might help you find your article.
Enter as much information as you can about the specific article or journal, such as article title, journal title, date, volume, issue, start page, ISSN and author. Article Find It requires at least the complete journal title or an ISSN. Remember to try variations of the journal title if necessary, such as replacing 'and' with '&'.
Once you have entered the details, click on the Go button to search for the citation. The Find It menu will appear with options for your requested article.
Curtin staff and students can use Article Find It. You will need to input your Curtin ID and password to access the full-text online.
It is possible that there is no electronic full text version available for that journal through Curtin University Library but remember to check the other services offered on the Find It menu.
You may have omitted to enter the journal title. Article Find It requires either a journal title or an ISSN to initiate a catalogue search.
Some databases can only link to the journal or issue rather than the individual article. This means you may need to do further searching within the journal to find your article.
For Article Find It to work correctly all of the information you have entered has to match exactly with what is in our linking system and the database provider. You could try editing your query to only include the journal title or ISSN. Alternatively, you might like to try searching for the title in the Curtin Library Catalogue or accessing the journal itself from Find e-Journal.
