Elizabeth Jolley Research Collection
The Elizabeth Jolley Research Collection is an online bibliography based on Elizabeth Jolley: A Bibliography, 1965-2007, a work compiled across twenty years by Curtin academics Barbara Milech and Brian Dibble. The Bibliography lists works by and about one of Australia's most important writers.
Geoff Gallop Collection
Geoff Gallop was Premier of WA from 2001-2006 and this collection comprises his personal papers from his years in state parliament. Included are electoral office papers, speeches and speech notes, media cuttings, day sheets, photographs, government achievement reports and papers on a wide variety of themes including electoral reform and ALP history. An online archive provides electronic access to the collection.
Carmen Lawrence Collection
Carmen Lawrence was Premier of WA from 1990 to 1993 and this collection comprises her personal papers from her time in state parliament. Included are media cuttings, speeches, electorate correspondence, photographs, circulars to ministers, and files on a wide variety of themes from the Breast Cancer Foundation in 1993 to good luck wishes for the 1993 election. An online archive provides electronic access to the collection.
Women's Health Collection
The Women's Health Collection comprises over 500 books and pamphlets with a focus on women's health, particularly in regard to marriage, sexuality and birth control. The collection contains works on the history of women's health as well as on changing attitudes towards women's health and women's place in society. The main strength of the collection is the coverage of material published between the two world wars, but nineteenth-century and earlier publications, as well as more recent works are also represented.
