The makerspace is located on Level 5 of Robertson Library. Drop in and learn how to knit, crochet, bead and make origami, or play a boardgame and chat with other makers.
What is a makerspace?
A makerspace is a physical space that is used to create and learn through practical, hands on experiences. Fostering community building; makerspaces encourage experimentation, exploration and the sharing of tools, materials, knowledge and expertise. Makers can experiment with 3D printing and robotics alongside learning how to knit and make origami; creating a collaborative, cross-disciplinary space.
The Library periodically hosts makerspace events and workshops. Information about events will be posted on the Library makerspace website.
