Laptop and wireless facilities
Laptops & netbooks
You are welcome to use your laptop or netbook in the library. Please do not leave it unattended!
You can also borrow a library laptop to use within the library, for more information on how to borrow one see the Laptops for loan page.
Power
For safety reasons only use “RCD protected” power points. Do not run leads in a manner which creates a trip hazard.
Data (wired and wireless)
There are wireless access points throughout all library buildings. You can download installation guides from the CITS Wireless web page.
There is a wired laptop room in the Blue Zone on level 6 of Robertson Library. In this room you can access the Curtin network by plugging one of the blue network leads provided into your laptop.
Printing
You can print from your laptop. Download the installation files.
