There are almost always computers available in the Library. Access to desktop computers works on a first come, first served basis. We have silent computer facilities available on level 5 and 6.
There are Macs available for use in the:
- Postgraduate and VC room, Level 5.
- Silent computer room 6.104, Level 6
The Robertson Library has laptops available for use within the Library. These can be borrowed from the help point on level 2 during normal business hours. For more information please see the Laptops for loan.
The Library provides LCD screens to facilitate group work. These are available in some of the bookable group study rooms on level five and in the study pods on level two.
Curtin students and staff can use any of the computers in the Library. To log on, use your student or staff ID and password.
Students and staff from partner universities can access the internet on their own devices using Curtin Wireless and eduroam.
Students and staff from other WA universities can use the Library computers to access their university library website. Select the option Curtin Visitor from the login page.
The Library makes computers available for research and study purposes.
You must follow Curtin guidelines on appropriate use of ICT facilities.
Anyone using Library computers for gaming or other social activities during busy periods of high computer use will be asked to move to allow other students computer access.
Do not leave your computer unattended for long periods of time. Staff may shut down the computer and collect your belongings so other students can use the computers.
