Open Universities Australia students
Curtin OUA students have access to the wealth of online resources available through the Library website including past exam papers, eJournals and eBooks. Reading Lists can be accessed through Blackboard.
The Library Catalogue allows you to search directly for articles, not just databases. You do not need to register for this service, however you will need your Curtin student ID and OASIS password to access restricted databases. To use the Catalogue, you must have activated your OASIS account.
Your units have been written to use online resources; if there is information that you feel should be included in your unit’s Reading List please contact your lecturer. The Library only adds material to Reading Lists that has been requested by your lecturer.
All Curtin OUA students can borrow books in person from any Curtin University Library. Please ensure that you bring you Curtin Student ID card.
Curtin OUA students are not eligible to become reciprocal borrowers at other university libraries. Enquiries can be made to other universities to see if there are any other borrowing types that may be possible (e.g. payable community borrower type). If you become a patron of another institution, you are responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of that institution as an individual borrower, not as a Curtin student.
Curtin OUA Postgraduate students are eligible for document delivery. Curtin OUA Postgraduate students located outside the metropolitan areas of Perth and Kalgoorlie may be eligible for off campus services.
If you are an Open Universities Australia student enrolled at universities other than Curtin, please see our information on non-Curtin OUA students.
