Open Universities Australia students
Curtin OUA students have access to the wealth of online resources available through this web site including e-Reserve, past exam papers, e-journals and e-books (see Find Books and Resources).
The new catalogue allows you to search directly for articles, not just databases. You do not need to register for this service, however, you will need your Curtin student ID and OASIS password to access restricted databases (Please note: You must have activated your OASIS account).
Off campus postal services are not provided to Curtin OUA students. This means that books are not posted to OUA students. Curtin OUA students can borrow books in person from any Curtin University Library branch.
Your units have been written to use online resources, if there is information that you feel should be included in e-Reserve, please contact your lecturer. The library only adds material to e-Reserve that has been requested by your lecturer. Curtin OUA students are not eligible for Document Delivery services, therefore, you are not able to request copies of book chapters or articles.
Curtin OUA students are not eligible to become reciprocal borrowers at other university libraries. Enquiries can be made to other universities to see if there are any other borrowing types that may be possible (e.g. payable community borrower type). If you become a patron of another institution, you are responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of that institution as an individual borrower (not as a Curtin student).
Open University of Australia students enrolled at universities other than Curtin, please see this information on non-Curtin OUA students.
