Off-campus students and staff

Borrowing if you can't come onto campus

If you are a Curtin Postgraduate student, Curtin OUA Postgraduate student or Curtin staff and live outside the Perth or Kalgoorlie metro areas, then you may be eligible for off-campus services

Are you eligible?

Only Curtin Postgraduate students, Curtin OUA Postgraduate students and Curtin staff located within Australia are eligible for this service. Eligibility is determined by postcode, so please ensure the Library has your correct address.

You may also be eligible for off-campus services if you live in the metropolitan area but have difficulty accessing the Library because of a disability. For more information please see students and staff with disabilities or contact us for more information. Please note print resources are not sent overseas.

Off-campus services

The Library will provide materials to eligible clients who cannot get to the Library in person. This includes copies of chapters and journal articles via email when licensing allows; as well as loaning books and audio-visual items.

Eligible clients may request items online via the catalogue, by selecting the pick up location of “Home Delivery” or “Office Delivery”. For instructions on how to request items please see how to request items.

Loaned books and audio-visual items will be sent to eligible clients via Australia Post. The client is responsible for paying the return postage.
