UWA, ECU, Murdoch and Notre Dame students and staff
The WA Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme allows all students and staff from:
- Curtin University
- Edith Cowan University
- Murdoch University
- The University of Western Australia
- University of Notre Dame Australia
to borrow in person from any of the other libraries in the scheme on certain conditions.
You must borrow the items you want in person, and return materials to the library from which you borrowed them.
Before borrowing you must register online. When you want to borrow you will need to provide your university ID card and your university email address to the Enquiries Desk at the Curtin library you wish to use.
Registration and borrowing are free of charge. Membership is personal and not transferrable.
Borrowing privileges expire on 28 February of the following year. Proof of continued enrolment or employment is required to renew your registration each year.
You will incur fines if you do not return Curtin Library items by their due date, or if you do not comply with Curtin Library rules. If you do not pay the fines you may be blocked from borrowing at Curtin Library and your own university’s library.
If an item is not returned, Curtin Library will bill your home library for the replacement cost of the item plus an administration cost. Once this has happened you will be required to reimburse to your own library any amounts paid on your behalf.
