Offsite Store materials

Some Library material is held in an offsite storage facility, which includes older or superseded material, or material that is now provided electronically. This allows space for new titles and editions and also provides more client space. These items can be found in the Catalogue with the location of Library Offsite Store.

Who is able to request Store items?

Items held in Store are available to be requested by Curtin staff and students.

How are Store items requested?

Requests can be placed by completing the Request Form and emailing to Library-Specialiseddelivery@curtin.edu.au.

Each request must use a separate form, and all mandatory fields must be completed. Please provide any optional information if available (incomplete forms can not be processed and will be returned to the requestor).

Collection times

Requests will be processed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week. Requests must be placed by 2pm on these days. Requests received after the 2pm cut off time will be processed on the next processing day.

Items are generally available the following business day, however, it may take up to three days before the item is available.

Availability

Requests may be collected when you receive an Availability Notification. This will tell you where to collect it from.

Some items may not be loanable and a separate email will be sent to you, letting you know of the viewing restrictions.
