Curtin Graduates (alumni) 

The library offers special library membership arrangements for Curtin graduates (alumni).

Alumni library membership is available for a fee of $50 (inclusive of GST) for 6 months or $90 for 12 months. (No refunds are given). To register, contact the Curtin Alumni Relations Office.
Services include:

  • Borrowing material from the Library's collections - 12 items for up to 6 weeks.
  • Use of the services provided by the Library's Enquiries Desk and Reference Desk staff.
  • Access to electronic databases using the computers in the Library in person via the Databases A-Z listing in the Curtin Library home page. Please select the link Databases for Alumni Use. Note this does not include all Library databases.
  • Remote access to ProQuest electronic database service. You will be issued with a Curtin ID and Password enabling you to access ProQuest via the Database A-Z listing on the Library website. It is an important Condition of Use that alumni members will only use the service for their own personal research or educational use and not as a substitute for their employers or businesses obtaining access to the service.
  • Access to other selected electronic databases including PubMed via the Databases A-Z listing. Please select the Free Databases link.

Note: Membership is personal and not transferrable. Access is not available to the library's full range of databases because of licence constraints.
