Linden joined the Curtin University Library in February 2015. Jenny joined Curtin University Library in July 2006 after working at UWA Libraries. Linden and Jenny have teamed together in February 2015, to share the role of Science and Engineering Faculty Librarian.

Background and special interests

Linden had an initial career as an economist in the Western Australia State Government, and then decided to grow her research and information retrieval skills by undertaking a graduate diploma in Library Studies at Curtin in 1997. Linden has since worked in government, corporate, university and school libraries in Perth and the Middle East (Abu Dhabi).

Jenny’s first career was as a Veterinary Surgeon. This was an all-consuming career which she pursued for over a decade both in Australia and internationally in the United Kingdom and USA; with a special interest in surgery, and equine and large animal medicine. Jenny’s strong interest in scientific research and academia led her back to universities and a career change as a Librarian.

Linden and Jenny aim to offer an expanded support role to the staff and research students of the Science and Engineering Faculty. As a team they strive to deliver relevant and timely services that facilitate their library clients to reach their full potential; in research, teaching, and coursework learning.
