Introduction

I joined the Research and Learning Services Unit of Curtin University Library as a Faculty Librarian in January 2013. In this role I provide support and information for the staff and research students of the schools of the Science & Engineering.

Background and special interests

I am a qualified librarian with 11 years’ experience working in and managing government libraries in England, gaining skills in transforming services and providing quality customer focused services in the Department of Health, the Home Office and the Department for Education. I worked most recently introducing and supporting customers in using SharePoint Team Sites for knowledge and records management at the Department for Education, England, providing in-depth information consultancy to ensure the department capitalised on and exploited SharePoint technology to improve knowledge management, information management and collaboration.
